This year, the franchise's first film, The Matrix, completed 20 years and the producers have decided to bring it back to the big screen for its 20th anniversary. Movie theater giant AMC Theatres has announced that The Matrix will be re-released across 135 of the company's cinema halls across the US. The Matrix re-release print will be available for viewing between August 30 and September 05.
