Paatal Lok is the latest original series from Prime Video in India, as part of the Amazon Originals slate for 2020. Ever since its release last week, Paatal Lok has been widely appreciated by subscribers, with some deeming it the best Web series from India. But, one actor seems to have spotted a Sacred Games connection in an episode of the TV show. Here are the details.

Kubbra Sait, who plays Kuku in Sacred Games, posted a revelation she spotted on Twitter. "You know the coolest thing... Cheeni worked in Kuku ka parlour 🤗 Mairembam Ronaldo Singh is still reeling in my head 😊 #PaatalLok" she said.

For those who haven't watched Sacred Games yet, Kuku is one of the most influential characters in Sacred Games, one of the girls who manages to break into Ganesh Gaitonde's soft side.

Some time later, one user managed to grab the screenshot of the exact scene where Cheeni, or Mary Lyngdoh, from Paatal Lok, is seen telling her friend that she has kept 2.5 lakhs in "Kuku's parlor".

Kubbra Sait retweeted the spotting and said, "I saw what you did there Sudip Sharma 😁" referencing the creator of the show. Kubbra was last seen in Web series Illegal from Voot Select.

Both shows, Paatal Lok and Sacred Games, are currently marquee offerings for Prime Video and Netflix, respectively. To see this sort of a crossover is indeed amusing to say the least.

Paatal Lok is the story of a police inspector and a celebrity journalist who must prove their mettle, amidst an ongoing attempt to murder investigation. The series is dark, gripping, and intense. It sees some brilliant acting across the board, from actors like Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag, and more.
