You might not know him by name, but Neeraj Kabi is one of the most underrated actors in Indian cinema, proving his mettle with his past few performances. Whether be it the dark and villainous role of DCP Parulkar in Sacred Games, or the suspect father Ramesh Tandon in Talvar, Kabi has aced whatever was offered to him. Neeraj Kabi is now playing Sanjeev Mehra in Prime Video's latest original series, Paatal Lok. Before you watch it, have a look at some of his best performances till date.

Ship of Theseus is Neeraj Kabi's debut in Indian cinema. While the movie didn't excite many and was a sort of sleeper hit, it did propel Kabi in the eyes of directors and producers after they saw him pull off a mean Maitreya in Anand Gandhi's 2012 drama.

2. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!

Kabi was also seen in Yash Raj Films' Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! He played the prominent role of Dr Anukul Guha, the anti-hero of the movie. Playing the role of a physician helped Kabi garner some much-needed Bollywood cred.

3. Talvar

Next up, he was seen in Bollywood blockbuster Talvar, alongside Irrfan Khan. In the movie, he plays the role of Ramesh Tandon, the father of the victim and the prime accused in the murder case.

4. Sacred Games

In Sacred Games, Neeraj Kabi made his digital debut with equal brilliance. He plays the role of DCP Dilip Parulkar, the corrupt policeman who is Sartaj's boss. His portrayal won him a lot of praise, as everyone saw how he naturally brought upon the role of a mean police-wallah.

Neeraj Kabi has also been a part of ZEE5 original series, The Final Call. He plays  Krishnamurthi, one of the lead characters. He, alongside, Arjun Rampal was appreciated for his stellar performance that made the TV show seems more real than reel.

6. Laal Kaptaan

Much recently, Neeraj Kabi was seen in Laal Kaptaan, playing the role of Sadaullah Khan. While the movie didn't manage to make a mark at the box office, it was appreciated by critics for its gritty theme.
