National Film Awards 2019 are a yearly affair and are considered to be one of the most prominent film award ceremonies in the industry. Established back in the 1950s, the National Film Awards are administered by the Indian government-run Directorate of Film Festivals. Each year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry, and the award ceremony is held in New Delhi, where the President of India presents the awards.
