The Justice League Snyder Cut is a reality. After a long-drawn fan campaign, Zack Snyder finally announced that his original Snyder Cut for DC's Justice League is set to premiere on HBO Max streaming platform in November 2021. Snyder was the original director of the film but had to leave halfway due to personal issues. You can read all about why Snyder Cut is so popular here. That said, we bring you 5 of the major differences we will most likely see in Justice League Snyder Cut in 2021 on HBO Max.

Much longer runtime

Zack Snyder is known for his longer movies. Reports suggest Justice League Snyder Cut might be as long as 2 hours 50 minutes. If not that long, it will at least be 2.5 hours. Be prepared for a long one.

More back story

The new Snyder Cut will attempt to explain the lore behind the motherboxes in the DC movie. It is expected to show the relationship between Darkseid and Steppenwolf. It explains that Darkseid had his mother Hegra imprisoned inside the 3 motherboxes, which is why Steppenwolf calls them mother.

With the original Justice League, we get a score by Tom Holkenborg AKA Junkie XL, who was the original choice for the film. Joss Whedon had replaced him with Danny Elfman. We can expect a good amount of soundtrack from Snyder's choice.

Redesigned Steppenwolf

Snyder has plans to completely revamp one of the key villains of the movie, Steppenwolf. While the original one was underwhelming, Zack Snyder recently revealed a heavily-armoured, deadlier, and menacing Steppenwolf. Set to step up the game.

Russian family is gone

One of the final scenes saw Superman rescuing a Russian family, a scene put in there for some sort of comedic effect in the dark theme. Now it seems that entire scene is gone from the Snyder Cut. No reasons as to why that happened.
