The COVID-19 lockdown is underway in India and entertainment outlets are shut; cinema halls and movie theaters across the country are closed right now. However, with several Bollywood movies pending release in these months, the producers seem to have found a new route - straight to digital/Streaming. In the last few weeks, a lot of producers have tied up with platforms like Netflix and Prime Video to release their Bollywood films straight to digital. Here is a look at the list.

1. Gulabo Sitabo (Amazon Prime Video)

Gulabo Sitabo is the first Bollywood movie confirmed for a digital-exclusive release on Prime Video. The Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer will premiere on June 12, with the trailer out soon.

2. Shakuntala Devi (Amazon Prime Video)

Shakuntala Devi has also been confirmed by Prime Video for direct release. This biopic stars Vidya Balan as the mathematician genius herself, as she aims to bring her brillance to the big screen. Release date out soon.

3. Khaali Peeli (Netflix)

A report by Bollywood Hungama, quoting a source, claims that Khaali Peeli will release exclusively on Netflix India. The movie stars Ishaan Khatter and Jahnvi Kapoor in lead roles. Release date isn't out yet. An official announcement is awaited.

4. Ludo (Amazon Prime Video)

Several reports are now suggesting dark anthology comedy film Ludo will premiere exclusively on Prime Video, considering it has already tied up with the platform. The movie has been directed by Anurag Basu, and stars Abhishek Bachchan and Sanya Malhotra among others.

5. Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai (Netflix)

This is the first Bollywood film confirmed to release exclusively on Netflix, during the lockdown. The movie has been directed by Anurag Kashyap, and stars Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew.

6. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (Netflix)

According to Bollywood Hungama, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is also part of the two-movie deal, alongside Khaali Peeli, to release on Netflix exclusively. Release date and trailer will be out soon.

7. Laxmmi Bomb (Disney+ Hotstar)

Laxmmi Bomb has been speculated for weeks now to release exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, however it seems negotiations are still underway between the producers and the streaming platform.

8. Jhund (Amazon Prime Video)

Alongside Ludo, Jhund is also being released exclusively on Prime Video. Details will be out soon.
