Avengers: Endgame is one of the most recent movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and probably the most impactful. Endgame was super popular among Marvel fans across the world and grossed more than $2.7 billion, becoming the highest grossing film of all time. A report has now emerged that has revealed the salaries of Avengers: Endgame actors including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlet Johannson, Jeremy Renner, and others.
One of the highest earning actors in the world, Robert Downey Jr reportedly took home a cool $75 million for his work in Avengers: Infinity War, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter. This is because Iron Man has a unique contract with Marvel, which allows him to take a salary as well as a cut in the movie's profits.
He will probably make much more than $75 million for Endgame, considering the movie is expected to cross Infinity War earnings as per trends.
One of the other stars of the movie franchise, Chris Evans is said to have charged somewhere between $15-20 million for each of the five films in his Marvel contract - from Captain America: The First Avenger to Avengers: Endgame.
Much like his co-star of the same name, Chris Hemsworth also signed a five-movie contract in 2010 and has now renegotiated it to take home a per movie cheque in the $15 to $20 million range.
One of the most important female superhero leads in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Scarlet Johannson is reportedly getting paid $20 million for acting and producing the standalone Black Widow film coming sometime in 2020.
And, finally, there are a few other notable superhero leads such as Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) who have negotiated certain deals for future MCU movies and miniseries on the Disney+ streaming platform.
